If you own a tennis court, then you know how hard it is to keep it clean when it’s exposed to the elements 24/7 and this doesn’t matter if it’s a backyard court or a public court, they are both exposed to the Perth wind, rain and sun.

Tennis and sport courts are very good at hiding just how dirty they are due to the dark surface and the gradual dirt build up each year. It isn’t until your court has been cleaned that you will notice the difference.

The most common issue we come across is the build-up of moss and mould, which is caused by the winter rains allowing moisture to seep into the surface. While the water and moisture is harmless on its own, it’s when the sun comes out that the moss and mould start to form and because most court surfaces are green this build-up can stay hidden.

Depending on the time of year there are different methods we can use to restore your court to new. Before we start to pressure clean your court, it’s important that we remove any floating water and as much moisture as we can. At times we do use a special chemical that is designed to kill spores that are notorious for creating the moss and mould.
